One of our clients, a healthcare provider in the Chicago area, reached out to Mindsight to expand their storage resources. Recently, their demands had grown to the point of almost exceeding their capacity. However, in our discussions with their IT directors, we determined that new storage equipment many not be necessary.
Our consultants and engineers discovered that the real reason their storage capacity was filling up had little to do with their storage device at all. It wasn’t a storage issue; it was a compute issue.
