We Support our Community Through Quarterly Giving Back Initiatives

At Mindsight, we’re not just client-centric, we’re people-centric. We strive to make the world a better place for the members of our Chicago-area community, because for us, doing good business also involves doing good. That’s where giving back comes in. Mindsight hosts charity events every quarter to give our employees the chance to make a difference. Our goal is to both help local community members in whatever capacity possible, and educate employees about the different issues facing the Chicagoland area.

John Quincy Adams once said, “If your actions inspire others to dream more, learn more, do more and become more, you are a leader.” At Mindsight, we take this quote to heart so we too can be great leaders.

Our Most Recent Mission

Our small but mighty team joined with hundreds of survivors, caregivers, friends, and family to walk in solidarity and celebrate life, hope, and the fight against cancer at Relay For Life of Joliet. We raised $5,408 gaining us recognition as a Gold Team. For a first year team, that is an unprecedented feat! The money we have raised will be used to fund research, treatment, and more. Thank you to every one of you that donated money, time, or words of encouragement. And a very special thanks to Kozy’s Cyclery, Redstone American Grill, The Capital Grille, WhirlyBall, DMK restaurants, and Joes Bar Joliet for sponsoring our raffle with some amazing donations. I can’t say enough how much this event meant to everyone on our team- all of which have very personal reasons for participating in Relay. We hope to one day live in a world where diseases like cancer no longer exist.

What We've Done So Far

Mindsight's Hunger Games

Each year, Mindsight joins our surrounding communities in the on-going fight against hunger. Though the Hunger Games theme may vary year to year, our goals remain the same: volunteer, donate, and educate.

Over the years we have helped several organizations including: the Northern Illinois Food Bank, the Chicago Food Depository, Feeding America, the People’s Resource Center, the Franciscan Outreach soup kitchen, and the Historic Wagner Farm.

Our Impact Over the Years:

  • 2,650 lbs of food donated
  • 100+ hours volunteering
  • 5,091 pounds of food scanned and sorted into 130 boxes
  • 2,181 pounds of food packed (providing 1,817 meals for hungry neighbors in Illinois)
  • 700+ meals served to food insecure individuals

Hustle for Health

Mindsight was a proud participant in Kenneth Young Center’s 16th Annual Hustle for Health 5K Run/Walk. The Kenneth Young Center is a 501 (c) (3) not-for-profit, comprehensive provider of mental health and senior citizens’ support services. Their mission is to help people “feel good, do better and find solutions.”

Mindsight’s raised over $3,000 towards the center’s goal of $60,000. The money raised went towards so they providing much needed support services for children, adults, and seniors.

Adopt-A-Highway

Mindsight is a proud participant of the Dupage County Adopt-A-Highway program. We’ve pledged to help keep the roadways cleaner and safer for all users (motorists, bicyclists, pedestrians) and residents/businesses in our adopted section: Finley Rd. from Lacey Rd. to Warrenville Rd.

As a part of this program, Mindsight has agreed to pick up trash/debris in the designated area four times annually.

St. Baldrick's Foundation

Mindsight is proud to support St. Baldrick’s in their heroic work to find cures for childhood cancers.

Mindsight has hosted several charity walks to benefit St. Baldrick’s. In total, we’ve raised nearly $10,000 for St. Baldrick’s and the quest to conquer childhood cancer research.

Domestic Violence Awareness

A Safe Place provides services to survivors of domestic violence and supports them in their efforts to transform their lives after domestic violence.

Mindsight held a Denim for Domestic Violence event which allowed employees to wear jeans to the office in exchange for a monetary donation to A Safe Place. We also visited A Safe Place to learn about their important mission, and assisted in painting several rooms at their Zion location.

Arbor Day

In honor of Arbor Day, several Mindsight employees participated in planting our very own tree on-site in Downers Grove.
