Managed Disaster Recovery
We leverage cloud and “as a Service” models for advanced risk reduction, implementing, managing, and testing disaster recovery systems.
Will you be ready when disaster strikes?
When a disaster strikes, companies are often unprepared – which is when they realize their shortcomings. While in the middle of a DR event, the added stress of not having a plan leads to confusion frustration, and longer recovery times. What’s more, many IT departments don’t monitor their backups closely and are unaware when backups fail, leaving data unprotected. Backup software is often not kept up to date, making it vulnerable to attacks from bad actors, including those attempting to use malware to infect customer systems.
Managed Disaster Recovery Services
What sets Mindsight apart from our competitors as that we approach disaster recovery (DR) as a business strategy. The business strategy leads to the technology. Just as each’s organization’s business strategy is unique, so is their IT environment, which requires a deep understanding in order to adapt an appropriate DR program. With Mindsight’s thoroughly developed process, our engineers are able to craft a custom-tailored DR plan for your organization. With our 6-Step Process, Mindsight will:
Review and recycle as much of your existing technologies as possible
Provide you with thorough, formal documentation
Test your environment on a scheduled interval of your choosing
Mindsight's 6-Step Disaster Recovery Process :
Using a documented notification process, Mindsight will declare that there has been an event. The notification will explain that systems are currently down and will be restored shortly.
Necessary workloads for your business’s applications will be provisioned to restore operation.
With business applications returning to life, certain modifications need to be made. IP addressing, name resolution services, and carrier connectivity will be altered accordingly.
Mindsight engineers will then validate that services and applications are fully operational.
Once functionality has been fully restored, a second declaration will be made as documented in your custom notification process indicating that all systems are back in working order.
This final step involves executing the required procedures to shift workloads and services back to their long-term operational settings.
