FinOps Fundamentals: Bringing Financial Accountability to the Cloud
Cloud costs are out of control. And most organizations aren’t doing nearly enough about it. Many CIOs and CFOs know cloud spend is rising—but without a system to track usage, assign ownership, or align spend to business value, they’re flying blind. At best, they react to bloated bills after the damage is done. At worst, they accept it as the cost of doing business in the cloud. This event is about changing that.
Join Tad Gralewski (Mindsight CIO), Michael Foy (ACP CFO), and our FinOps experts as they cover various topics such as:
- What’s actually broken with cloud spend today – It’s not just about overspending—it’s about lack of visibility, ownership, and accountability.
- The truth about what most orgs are (and aren’t) doing – And why reactivity is costing more than money—it’s costing trust, agility, and credibility.
- What FinOps really is – No fluff—just clear, foundational principles for cloud cost governance.
- Where FinOps is going—and why early adoption matters – Those who invest now will build cost-aware cultures, automate accountability, and make cloud spend a competitive advantage.
- What a healthy FinOps relationship looks like – From tagging policies to executive dashboards—what real support means day to day.
This is an educational event, not a sales pitch.
Bring your toughest questions and join other CIOs and CFOs who are ready to treat cloud spend as a strategic initiative—not just a line item. Enjoy a delicious lunch and networking afterwards.
